Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq has been appointed as the new chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard today.
He replaces Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Mafidur Rahman, who was transferred from the post on June 26.
CAAB, under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, is responsible for regulating and overseeing all civil aviation activities in the country, including airport operations, air traffic control, aviation safety, and security
