Dhaka: The country's remittance inflow rose 22.3 percent year-on-year, reaching US$735 million in the first seven days of May.
According to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country received $601 million in remittances during the same period last year.
Expatriates sent $25,273 million in remittances from July 2024 to May 7, 2025, in the current fiscal year, up from $19,720 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
